Max and Lauren Brockmeyer are generally appointed missionaries serving in Europe with Convoy of Hope. Lauren, a Massachusetts native, and Max, a Pennsylvanian native, met at Zion/Northpoint Bible College in 2009. After getting married in 2012, they moved to southern West Virginia to become Youth Pastors where they spent two years, before feeling God’s call to the mission field. Their first assignment was working as Missionary Associates in Antwerp, Belgium. In Belgium they did church planting, community outreach, anti-human trafficking and university outreach. God called them back to Europe. They are based in southern Spain, in the city of Malaga.
They work with Convoy of Hope in five specific ministries with Convoy of Hope. They minister to Roma (gypsy) population, city outreach programs, implementing church discipleship programs, and women’s empowerment initiatives. Max and Lauren are excited about serving God in these ways, and about what He will do through them.
But our missionaries can’t do what they have been called to do alone. Our partnership with them matters.
As individuals and as a church, in Matthew 28: 18-20 Jesus tells, “I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth. 19 Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations,[a] baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. 20 Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age. “God into the world and make disciples. We can accomplish this great commission by supporting missionaries.
